Intro 💁🏽‍♀️

So for those that don’t know me or my family personally I suppose I better introduce us all a little so that you know who it is I’m on about in my blog posts. There are nine of us so bear with as I introduce us over the coming weeks 🙊

I’m Gini, I’m a full time mama to my 2 baby boys and 3 step kids. My boyfriend’s name is Ian and we also have 2 doggos that complete our family. The only member of the family bar myself & Ian that is over 10 years old is my husky so things are a bit hectic 😂

I initially started this Instagram type blog two years ago as a way to document me playing around with makeup as its something I love doing. That was back when I only lived with my doggos and had copious amounts of time on my hands. I hardly get a chance to experiment with makeup anymore but rest assured when I do it will be making an appearance here too 😋 I named myself VanillaGini back then because I am hella plain (like vanilla ice cream) and in the beauty blogger world that was my niche! 😂

Now I post about my journey as a Mama and Step-mama in an effort to reassure folks that we all deal with similar issues and aren’t alone in how we feel. But I hope it’s something people without kids can identify with too. I know I post about the kids a lot but thats mainly because it’s the only thing I’m doing at the moment so it’s my frame of reference. However, a lot of the struggles I go through are more to do with my hang ups and issues and I’m sure most people can identify with more than a few.
